Not at all. Our classes are designed for complete beginners and those with a little more experience. Your instructor will walk you through every step of the process from start to finish — no artistic background required. Just show up ready to try something new.

Private classes are exactly that, private. You and your group have the studio and instructor entirely to yourselves for 2 hours. Everyone gets to choose what they want to make, and the instructor focuses solely on your group. For groups of 6 or more, sessions can sometimes run 2.5 to 3 hours.

Make Your Own (MYO) events are ticketed group sessions held 2 to 3 times a month with rotating seasonal themes — ornaments in December, pumpkins in the fall, flowers in the spring. Sessions are 1 hour long with up to 5 people per time slot, and everyone makes the same themed piece.

Not quite, but it will be worth the wait. Glass needs to be annealed (cooled down slowly) and cold processed (polished up) after your class, which takes 1 to 2 days. Your piece will be ready to pick up at the studio after that.

If you can't make it back to pick it up, we can ship it to you for a small fee. You can add the shipping option when you book your class or purchase it at the studio on the day of your session.

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing made from natural fibers like cotton, fitted close to the body. Closed-toe shoes are a must. Tie back long hair. If you wear glasses or readers, bring them — safety glasses are provided for contacts or non-glasses wearers.

Dress lightly in warmer months since the studio heats up near the furnace. In cooler months, wear layers. A changing area is available if you want to bring studio clothes.

Please skip: synthetic fabrics like polyester, heels or open-toe shoes, dresses, skirts, loose or baggy clothing, and cropped tops. Hot glass and synthetics are not a great combo.

In a private class, you choose from a variety of functional and sculptural pieces — bowls, vases, cups, wine glasses, mushrooms, flowers, birds, trees, ornaments, and more. Not everyone in your group has to make the same thing. Have a specific idea? Ask us — we do our best to make it happen within beginner-friendly limits.

In a Make Your Own event, everyone makes the same piece based on the theme for that session. If pumpkins aren't your thing, no worries — just check back for the next theme.

We ask that you cancel no less than 24 hours before your class. Cancellations within that window and no-shows are subject to a $75 cancellation fee to protect our artists and their time.

That said, life happens. If you need to reschedule, you can do so directly through the confirmation email you received when you booked — just scroll down and click the Change/Cancel Appointment button. Or reach out to us directly. We would much rather reschedule you than penalize you.

We also host private team building sessions for companies, departments, leadership retreats, client appreciation events, and holiday parties — groups up to 15 people.
