Burning Branch Studio is a 501 (c) 3 Non profit Co-Op. Our mission- Learn, Grow, Heal through the Arts.
Our funds go into starting and supporting Alternative Art therapy programs in our local substance abuse recovery houses. As part of the program, the studio is utilized for our programs along with in house sessions. Our goal in using the studio as a means for therapy is to create and build social and verbal communication and connections for newly recovering people. The program also serves as a teaching tool for a new trade, skill, or hobbie to help replace unhealthy behaviors, Using the medium of glass as another form of communicating, thoughts, feelings and ideas.
Please help us grow by supporting us through donating, sharing, commenting, and purchasing our work. We appreciate anything that will help us build stronger. Thank you for your support!
Being in recovery myself, I find my work to be an essential part of my path to growth and healing. I want to share with my community of people struggling with addictions of all kinds ( and those who are not) that recovery is possible. Any tools given on my path are worth trying. Blowing glass is my passion and my personal art therapy as well. I am also greatly inspired by nature. My work is influenced by flora and fauna and it shows through creating very organic bodies of work.
